We have an extensive range of specialised equipment for sound and image capture available for hire. Our equipment normally comes with an operator but in some instances can be dry hired.

We DO NOT currently hire standard type broadcast cameras and accessories.

TIME-LAPSE

Digital time-lapse kits based on Canon EOS systems. Including a camera body, lenses, intervalometer & memory card. Laptop and portable hard-drives are available on request. Timing posts complete with weatherproof housings and other grip equipment is also available.

UNDERWATER HOUSINGS

Various customised housings for static cameras both stills and video (Canon and Nikon DSLR, EX1, A1, PD100). The 100 meter Umbilical offers firewire, USB, BNC, multiple 4-9 pin connections, TTL, LANC, glass view ports, heater for condensation and water alarm. 12v, 24v, 110v & 240v available. Can be modified to most specifications and requirements, all housings can be used in conjunction with various traps and sensors.

MOTION CONTROL HEAD

This is a programmable motorised panning camera mount for time-lapse photography. The kit includes a control unit which allows ramped or continuous pans/tilts, an intervalometer to control a digital time-lapse unit and 12v, 110v and 240v power supply.

MOTION CONTROL TRACK

This is a programmable motorised camera dolly on a 3m track for tracking time-lapse, tracking real-time and macro photography. The kit includes a 12v and 24v power supply.

INFRA-RED FILMING KIT

Kits which enable long-lens filming in low-light and with infra-red lighting. Each kit includes an Ikegami infra-red camera, DV recording unit, viewfinder, the choice of an infra-red or visible filming light, a lens adapter and lens support for either the J-series Canon video lenses or PL-mount film lenses.

CAMERA TRAPS

We have two trap systems. Each is housed in a peli-case, and includes two sets of sensors (beam splitters or motion sensor), a timer-unit (to set the time interval the unit will record for if a sensor is tripped), a DV recording deck, two infra-red lights, an infra-red camera, choice of lenses and a 12v battery supply.

LIGHTS & LIGHTING

We have a variety or infra-red lights - with both visible and non-visible filters - from small LED units to 500w halogen units. We can also provide red or white visible spotting lights, batteries and chargers.

TIME-SLICE ROTATING CAMERA MOUNT

This is a remote control motorised rotating arm. The arm has a variable diameter - from 10cm to 3m. The rotation speed can be controlled from a slow crawl - suitable for time-lapse photography - to two full rotations per second - for high-speed time-slice shots. The rig can be fitted with any camera system from mini-DV to full HD high speed video cameras.

CAMERA CRANE & MINI JIB

4 ,6 and 12ft jib kits available. 18-40ft Cranes are also available at competitive rates via cross hire.

DOLLY TRACK

15m modular track system, with dolly.

FILMING TANK

6000 litre - 3m x 3m x 1.5m tank with two filming windows, filtration system and river flow replication pumps. Based in Bristol, UK.
